What is a Facebook Page?
 ‘Connect with your customers on Facebook
similar to the way they connect with their
friends. Through a Facebook Page, users
can show their support by becoming a fan,
writing on your Wall, and other actions
that automatically generate News Feed

 Website(s)
 Mini-Feed
 Fans (or Supporters)
 Settings
 visibility (published or unpublished)
 age restrictions (13+, 17+, 18+, 19+, 21+, legal
drinking age)

Applications

 Events (independent of user-created and group-created


events)
 Photos (can be added by Page Admins, and optionally by
fans, arranged in separate sections)
 Video (allows tagging as with user video application)
 The Wall
 Discussion Board (like The Wall with multiple
topics/threads)
 Notes (can import a feed [Atom/RSS] or URL, updates every
few hours)
 Share (as with most other Facebook application pages)
 Reviews (mandatory, works same as on application
directory pages)

Updates

 new(ish) incoming communication zone for the
user, different to the main user-to-user, group-to-
user, event-to-user messaging (Message Inbox),
and to the application notifications page
(Notifications)
 all Update messages can be found, and are
sorted by date, and filterable by Page (sorted by
Page category)
 no limit to number of messages (Facebook
recommend around two a month) that a Page can
send
